Remedial Massage
Every body is unique.
We have a body-neutral approach, where all bodies are respected.
Our remedial massage recognises and respects that we all have different requirements around sensory input including touch, lighting, sound & smell.
Most importantly, we understand safety looks and feels differently for everyone.
A one-size-fits-all approach is not our style.
Our massages are one hour (the first session is one hour and fifteen minutes, to allow for Kate to meet you and determine your massage requirements)
From a trauma-aware perspective, we don’t provide longer sessions, as it can bring our nervous system into overwhelm.
When you arrive, you will be asked how you can be made most comfortable (we will send you an intake form beforehand, so you can provide more detailed information).
We remind you that this is a trauma-aware service and is not a substitute for counselling

We endeavour to be a flexible practice, providing opportunity for reschedules and cancellations with up to 24 hours notice. Any appointment rescheduled or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, will be charged the full amount. We are a small practice and our sole income is derived from our sessions.

We regularly work with people who have experienced trauma and recognise that touch can be challenging. As a trauma-aware service, we try to provide a massage that is respectful of you and your experiences.
