About

Progressive Therapeutic Collective provides counselling, remedial massage and sex therapy.
Our therapy services are available online across Australia.

Safety

We work hard to provide a safe space for everyone who engages with our practice.

Some of our clients are living in abusive relationships and engaging with counselling/support can be challenging.  If this is you, please let us know and we will do our best to navigate the situation in a calm, clear and safe manner.

Confidentiality is a key component of safety; we will always uphold client confidentiality, unless there are any concerns for the safety of yourself or others.

Accessibility

Accessibility is one of core values and we work hard to provide an accessible service.

We provide a two-tier payment system, with the aim of making our practice more financially accessible.

All of our services, except remedial massage, are available online via encrypted telehealth across Australia.

Anti-racism

The Progressive Therapeutic Collective is mindful of the role we play in providing a practice that is anti-oppressive, anti-racist and seeks to dismantle white supremacy.

First, we have to acknowledge our privilege as a white-owned business.  We know we must develop an understanding of when we need to advocate versus when we need to sit, listen & learn

Queer Practice

We are a proudly queer-owned practice; 70% of our staff are queer and 50% are non-binary.

We welcome all genders and all sexualities.

Neurodiversity

It's time to honor the needs, diversity, and unique strengths of neurodiversity.

It's time for greater public acceptance and accommodation of difference.

In embracing neurodiversity, we can all reap the rewards of nonconformity and learn to live authentically.

Body neutrality

We prefer a 'body neutral' approach within our practice; where there is less judgement made towards our bodies and also less toxic positivity.

We do not advocate for any particular forms of movement or eating.

We work on land never ceded.

We acknowledge the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation,
the Traditional Owners and custodians of the Land on which our practice is based,
and pay respect to Elders past, present and future.
